EETT-Competitive Round 7
Submitted by Molly Large on Wed, 2008-03-19 07:45.

On February 29, the California Department of Education (CDE) posted the
Request for Applications (RFA) for the $15 million federal Enhancing
Education Through Technology Competitive (EETT-C) grant program. The primary
purpose of this EETT-C program is to improve student academic achievement in
grades 4-8 through the use of technology. EETT-C is a competitive grant
process; LEAs must complete an application which is scored and ranked against
other applicants in the region. The top scoring applications will be funded.

RIMS CTAP is seeking suggestions for possible professional development
priorities for the Summer Roadshow hands-on training events to be held in
locations throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties during Summer
2008. In addition, Region 10 CTAP is in the process of reapplying for funding
for the next three years. As part of our re-application process, we are
required to conduct a needs assessment for the school districts to which we
provide services. Please complete the short survey to help us better
