Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Announces Distance Learning Programming for
2007-2008

The Education Department of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum
has recently announced the 2007-2008 classes in their distance-learning
program, On the Road.
On the Road uses videoconferencing technology to offer classes, which
are developed and conducted by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Education
Department staff and include interview clips with key figures in the
history of popular music, behind-the-scenes commentary with Museum
curators, audio and video clips of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees,
and more.

EdTech Classroom Conference 2007: Call for Student Technology Projects

EdTech Classroom Conference 2007 is the place for educators and those
who are interested in education to learn how technology is impacting
teaching and learning in the Inland Empire.
RIMS CTAP is actively seeking teachers to bring a small group of their
students to the EdTech Classroom Conference on Nov. 3 to participate in
the Student Technology Showcase.

21st Century Learners Symposium - Friday, October 19, 2007

Join host Instructional Technology Outreach (ITO) at the Los Angeles
County Office of Education for a day of networking opportunities,
hands-on presentations, and instructional resources. The California
Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) and the California Department of
Education's Technology Office will also participate in this regional
event. The Symposium's exhibit area will feature innovative,
instructional technology tools and services for you and your students.
Keynote speaker Alan November and featured presenters Cheryle Lemke and
McREL will help participants to be engaged, enriched, and empowered!

Marzano Strategies Integrated with Technology for History and Science
Teachers

CTAP and RCOE have collaborated to bring a special workshop to Middle
School Science and History teachers. On October 22, Marzano Strategies
Integrated with Technology for History and Science Teachers will be
offered at the RCOE Murrieta Office.
