Second Annual Emerging Trends Conference Call for Presenters

RIMS CTAP is seeking experienced, accomplished educators who are interested
in presenting at the Second Annual Emerging Trends Conference: Putting the
Pieces Together. Presented in collaboration with the College of Education at
California State University San Bernardino, the Second Annual Emerging Trends
Conference will be held July 30-31, 2008 at California State University, San
Bernardino.

Free Online Tour and Complimentary Subscription for My SkillSource Technology
Training Resources!

TechSETS is offering a 45-minute online training site tour of the My
SkillSource training courses and resources on Tuesday, December 11, 2007, at
3:30 pm PST.
Why set the time aside?
TechSETS, through a partnership with Enterprise Training Solutions, offers
online training subscriptions to a very robust online learning site called My
SkillSource. This program is available to all California K-12 technologists
and schools at highly discounted rates.

Education Technology K-12 Voucher Program Update

As of November 2007, the Education Technology K-12 Voucher program has
processed more than $16 million in reimbursement checks. There are three
major issues that affect processing time: 1) Vendor invoices MUST have a
statement regarding "standard academic pricing"; 2) claim forms must be
signed by one of the people listed in the original application as an
authorized signature; and 3) original invoices, or an approved exemption to
the original invoice, must be submitted with the request for reimbursement.
The expected increase to the initial $250 million allocation has been further
delayed. The increase will be announced no earlier than the end of February.

district balance sheets, product eligibility questions, voucher redemption

Atomic Learning Subscriptions for only $20 each

TechSETS is pleased to offer special statewide pricing on Atomic Learning,
made possible through an agreement with the California Technology Assistance
Project (CTAP). The Atomic Learning Library contains over 30,000 training
tutorials representing more than 110 of the software applications that
California students and school personnel use everyday.
